Our Universal Desktop Thermal Printer can connect to any digital scale indicator with an internal or external RS-232 port. This includes the LP7510, BB8100SS, Cardinal 190 Storm, any of the Gallagher indicators and more.
Since there is really no "standard" printer plug in the scale industry, we recommend purchasing a generic RS-232 cable and hard-wiring the scale to the internal port on your scale indicator. Many "big name" scale manufacturers create a proprietary plug so that only their $500 printer will plug in to their indicator. The truth is, printing from a scale almost always only requires three wires -- TX (transmit), RX (receive), and GND (ground) -- and RX is sometimes optional. So, basically, if you cut the cable and simply wire the printer to the RS-232 port inside your indicator, you'll save yourself hundreds of dollars.
This printer runs on standard thermal receipt paper. It comes with one roll to get you started. You can purchase replacement paper at your local office supply store. We don't sell it here because we can't compete with the Staples' and Office Depots of the world. Here's a link to it at Staples: http://www.staples.com/Staples-reg-Thermal-Paper-Rolls-2-1-4-x-80-10-Rolls/product_452175
